Cristina Cooks Hamburger Cupcakes with Nolan Gould
Nolan Gould and Cristina teach us how to build a cupcake that looks remarkably like a cheeseburger! They cut a vanilla cupcake in half to use as the bun and put sesame seeds on the top. Then, a layer of chocolate frosting is made to look like the patty. Chopped coconut serves as lettuce. And, tomatoes, cheese, pickles, and onions are made out of fondant. Finally, use frosting for condiments such as ketchup, mayo, and mustard. No burger meal would be complete without fries, so sliced pound cake does the trick!

A Mother's Journey Through Autism
Nancy Alspaugh-Jackson put motherhood on hold until later in life as she pursued a career as a busy TV producer. At the age of 46, she adopted a healthy baby boy and was proud when he hit his milestones early. She suddenly noticed her son fading as he began throwing horrible temper tantrums. In denial herself and with the pediatrician calling it typical boy behavior, this continued on for quite some time until Wyatt was finally diagnosed with autism. Nancy eventually learned of the "gold standard of treatment," Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy, which retrains the brain. Today, Nancy is the executive director of Autism Care & Treatment (ACT) and explains why early intervention is so important for recovery and how expensive proper care can get.

Facts & Figures:
-Autism affects boys four times more often than girls.
-One in 58 children in America have an autism spectrum disorder.
-500,000 children with autism will transition into adulthood over the next decade.
-There is currently no cure for ASD (autistic spectrum disorders).
